Terms of use

The rules for using E-Game Arena. Version 2026-10-09.

1. What this is

E-Game Arena ("Arena") is a website where people organise and play eFootball tournaments, free or with an entry fee, and where prizes are tracked and paid out. Arena is run by E-Game Arena, Kenya.

2. Who can use it

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • One account per person. Do not create extra accounts to enter the same tournament twice.
  • The phone number on your account must be your own M-Pesa number, because prizes and refunds are sent to it.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

3. Tournaments and admins

  • Anyone can create a tournament and becomes its admin. The admin sets the format, rules, entry fee and prize split before players join.
  • Players report scores with a screenshot of the in-game result. The opponent confirms or disputes. Admins approve results and settle disputes using the screenshots. An admin cannot approve a match they play in.
  • If a player does not show up, the admin may award a 3-0 walkover.
  • The draw is random and can be checked by anyone using the seed shown on the tournament page.

4. Fair play

No cheating, match fixing, using several accounts, abusing other players, or sharing false screenshots. We may remove players, cancel tournaments, hold prizes and close accounts when we find a breach.

5. Entry fees, the site fee and prizes

  • The entry fee is shown before you pay. Payments are made through Paystack with M-Pesa or card. You are entered only when Paystack confirms the payment to us.
  • Arena keeps 10% of the money paid into a tournament to run the platform. The rest is the prize pool, split as the tournament shows.
  • After the final is approved, prizes are held for a short time set by the admin (30 minutes to 24 hours) so problems can be raised. After that the admin releases them and Arena sends them to the winners by M-Pesa. We record each payment with its M-Pesa reference.
  • We may hold or withhold a prize while we look into a report of cheating, a wrong result or a payment problem.
  • Arena is not responsible for a prize sent to the phone number on your account if that number is wrong.

6. Skill, not luck

Results depend on the skill of the players. Arena is built for skill competitions between players and is not a betting or lottery service.

7. Problems and complaints

Use "Report a problem" on the tournament page. The site owner reads every report and can put payouts on hold while it is looked at.

8. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Arena running but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, Arena is not liable for losses caused by outages, other people's actions, or things outside our control, other than the entry fees and prizes handled under these terms.

9. Changes and ending

If we change these terms in a way that matters we will ask you to accept the new version before you pay or create a paid tournament. You may stop using Arena at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

10. The law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
